Bridges to Belarus is a small, UK based charity that helps children and families in Belarus who are affected by the Chernobyl disaster. The people of the region have health issues related to the disaster but are also affected by extreme poverty. All our people are volunteers, which allows us to spend all money raised in supporting our families.

We currently support around 800 children, as well as local schools and a day centre for young people with learning difficulties. We provide winter food parcels to help our families get through the harshest times of the year.
